Welcome to my web-page, my name is Scott Keenlyside.
I have been in the golf industry for 26 years and have worked at a number of different facilities, both public and private, in various capacities. The purpose of my web-page is to introduce myself and offer my advisory services regarding the operations of a golf facility.
My experience strongly suggests to me that the business of golf is very complex, and answers are sometimes not easily found. The frequent questions of how to build a membership, how to create the appropriate club atmosphere, workability of the plant, marketing techniques (on how to find golfers), plus most importantly how to make money, can be challenging to say the least. Every club struggles with one or more of these issues; you are not alone, in today’s current market environment, everyone is searching for answers.
In addition, my service will hopefully simplify the process, find solutions and answers that work, and perhaps act as a “fresh set of independent eyes” at your golf facility. My years in the industry have taught me, how best to save dollars, how best to spend them, and prioritize what is relevant to the big picture, and sometimes the small.
As an external agency my service can provide and advise outside the circle, providing unbiased, confidential advice and counsel as how best to proceed with both complicated and debated issues. Club politics can be very delicate at times and require sound expertise and understanding regarding analysis, execution, and resolution. I believe I can help!
